Fulltime Laborer Position

Naknek Electric Association, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a fulltime laborer worker. Rate of pay will range from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Laborer Responsibilities:

Taking verbal and written instructions from company managers and department heads. Cleaning assigned work areas inside and outside of the property. Perform basic landscaping duties including tree trimming, weeding and watering of plants. Order and maintain cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment. Pressure wash Heavy Equipment, washing vehicles and must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.

Laborer Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Valid Alaska drier’s license. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment, knowledge of mechanical landscaping equipment. Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. Applications can be picked up at the NEA office Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, or can call the office at 907-246-4261 to have the application emailed or faxed. Completed applications packages should be submitted to service@naknekelectric.com or dropped off at Naknek Electric Association and also can be dropped off after hours in the drop box at the front door.
