As a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Naknek Electric Association Board of Directors voted on March 16, 2020, to reduce unnecessary risks to our members and the community by canceling the in-person meeting portion of the Annual Membership Meeting scheduled for April 11, 2020.

The Board of Directors did not take this action lightly. We will continue to look for additional ways to engage with and provide critical electric service and information to our members during this public health emergency. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.

Additionally the NEA office will be closed to public access until conditions improve. NEA Staff look forward to helping all members with all questions, bill payment and service change needs via phone or email.

PLEASE CAST YOUR BALLOT BY MAIL

 

While NEA will not hold the 2020 Annual Membership Meeting in person, the election for the Board of Directors will continue as a mail-only ballot election. In order for the mail-only election to be valid, NEA will need a quorum of the membership to cast mail ballots. Please take a moment to cast your ballot by mail. Additionally, NEA will accept ballots in its dropbox at the NEA office.

Please be advised that all ballots must be received by NEA by 5:00 PM on April 11, 2020, in order to be counted. NEA will be offering Door Prizes to members who return a valid ballot to NEA.

 

ALL ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY APRIL 11TH 2020

 

The reports usually presented at the Annual Membership Meeting will be made available to the members on NEA’s website as soon as possible and will also be mailed to members upon request. We will also announce the election results on the website. Annual Meeting Cancellation Notice (PDF)
